No it didn't come with a engine. I check it and I don't see any parts for it which is suck. Guess I have to grab out from tamiya or fujimi

Good progress!

The tires in this kit are ridiculously too narrow...and more narrow than the rims.

The tires are a stretch fit. The lower profile and lower width causes the tire to stretch around the rim, making it thinner and allowing you to use a wider wheel and not cause clearance issues with your fenders. Common practice and I think it looks really good, as does the rest of the model.
