I smoke imports :)nastc1 06-18-2003, 05:51 PM Sorry lol, but i've seen people get pretty relentless against cavs, I guess that just means they havn't raced a fast one. GTi-VR6_A3 06-18-2003, 05:54 PM impesive results with what you have done. id love to hear some racing stories and see some engine bay pics. sounds like you have a nice ride. i would reccomend leaving the insults out if you wanna hang arround though, people tend to not like them... -GTi-VR6_A3 nastc1 06-18-2003, 05:57 PM Sorry lol, but i've seen people get pretty relentless against cavs, I guess that just means they havn't raced a fast one. SHOtough 06-18-2003, 05:58 PM :iagree: as much as i like domestics, you can't go around dissing every japanese make, they aren't all crap it's all about the money, if you got it, you can probably make your car go fast but nice work and welcome  2strokebloke 06-18-2003, 07:48 PM I smoke... never mind I don't, it's bad for my health. 9.6? How many horses is it pushing out? TatII 06-18-2003, 09:00 PM well a 9.6 is hard to beleive but i know tha tyou can make anything fast as long as you got the green for it. also you can diss out any other car make but please spare nissan. nissan didn't do anything to you and they do make good cars. del 06-18-2003, 10:12 PM everyone can dish out all the shit-talking about any other car but the one they themelves drive. that's fine. i dont' doubt that your car is quick, but that's an awful lot of talk. since you race so frequently at the track, let's see some slips and i may consider believing one word you've said so far. coz for all we know, your cav runs 17 seconds. in all honesty, i'd love to see you prove the naysayers wrong, myself included. dayna240sx 06-18-2003, 10:47 PM Um yeah... I'll road race you anyday. Wow you can go straight. Talent. A guy I know raced a 2003 Nitrous Cavalier with his first gen RX-7, beat him, and the Cavalier blew its engine while racing. So yeah, your car may be fast straight, but it probably wont last long. I floored it and we were neck and neck -- he was ahead but he wasn't going anywhere with it. Now the good part: Less than a 1/4 mile in, that section of road has a neat turn in it -- I kept on the gas but Z-24 man let off the throttle (in fear I assume). I sailed through the corner without incident (I did upgrade to 205 60 14's years ago, a nice set of Yok's (not as good as my old Comp TA's, but it rains here). My wife was white knuckled, to be sure, but my Civic took the corners like Nikki Lauda. (OK, I'm old, I admit it). I think I'm going to buy an s2000. No Mustangs, no vettes, ... I can take my muscle at 9k -- heck, it gives you something to do behind the wheel. Besides, that kind of Jekkyl and Hyde is much easier to manage than American Muscle. (Puts on flame-resistant suit). I don't know what your powerplant feels like day-to-day ... what's your HP peak and redline? Does it drive more like a big american V8, or is it more high revving? What's the low-end tourque like?
