Thought I might as well start a new thread for the above - the story so far is -
SAS Integra front & rear clips (2 parts so many uses !)
Side skirts deepened to match
(excuse the masking tape)
no firm ideas on paint/wheels but am toying with the idea of silver with blue stripes (ala f&f Skyline or is that uncool ?) - would welcome your comments
Anyway heres the pics with the front and rear ends roughly blended in.

I think that would be an excellent idea to paint it like the skyline of 2f2f. Why not they got the bomes rx-7 painted like the fnf supra !

This is going to look excellent! That rear looks alot better now you have filled in, looks very similar to the Ings rear now, i can see it will work:wink: Not so keen on the 2F2F skyline paintjob on this, i think it deserves something more classy. That bodykit fits the rx-7 very well...do they make a blitz kit for the rx-7?

Love the idea of silver/blue for the paint.
Id even keep the wheels on it you have now :cool:

I'd been thinking about how to liven up the hood on the RX7 as IMO it looks a bit boring when I came across Appleseeds excellent tutorial and the results are attached - the vents aren't raised flush as I got a bit carried away with the sandpaper:redface: - having said that I don't think it looks too bad being flush to the hood and I'm buggered if I'm going to start again.
What do you think ?

Very nice bodykit.

I've been doing a bit of filling & sanding and most of the bodywork is now done - I think I may have to scrap the idea of the stripes due to the hood vents - still a bit to do before it's ready to spray

A bit of progress at last - my paint plans were put on hold because I've been waiting to pick up some flip paint that my local car store has just started stocking - picture attached. It flips from purple to green and also blue gold at some angles - I hope the picture gives you some idea.

A bit more progress as the paint has been rubbed out and window trim painted up - not a very good picture but the batteries have just run out on my camera - its difficult to get a good picture of the flip effect. I'll make a start on the interior today - I think it will have to be black with a neutral highlight like gray although I'm tempted by purple again !. :iceslolan

At the risk of boring everybody- the suspension etc is now finished - just need to paint the rear view mirrors (which I forgot to do) and add the wing without getting glue everywhere !

-should be all finished by the weekend - I'll try and get some good outdoor shots (weather permitting) - I can concentrate on getting the Civic finished them - after that who knows ? (currently waiting on a HLJ order but all out of stock)
