  okay guys I always wanted to get the Apexi N1 duel catback... but i also liked the HKS dragger 2 series. Not i got the money to get one. Just I like the looks of the N1 duels more, but i got a very good deal on the HKS ones. Not sure but isnt the HKS stainless steel?? anyways i like the duel exhaust look more then the Single fart can look. Now im down to what is too loud, Ive heard the HKS on a s15 and it sounds beautifull!!! but thats turbo, how would it differ on the KA?? Also alot of ppl tell me he N1's are real loud, as most Apexi exhaust are. But thats a mix reaction depending on the person. Do you guys think its too loud?? Anyways let me know what you guys think is better??

TatII would be a good source here, as he has duel cans on his KA, although his is now turbo. i like the look of the duel pipes as well, and it's definitley more unique then the single Apex'i N1, the exhaust that everyone and their mother seems to have these days. my vote goes with Apex'i, although i have heard very good things about the HKS exhaust as well.

They are both great exhausts and the N1 is quieter than the super drager. I have video clips available of both if you are on broad band, e-mail me and I'll be happy to send them to you. The Apexi is a little more affordable, as I'm sure you've found...

Good luck!

i was scared when i saw a user-name roaming the forums with a ".com" at the end of it. i thought you would just be a mindless spammer, but it seems like you're a knowledgable person! way to prove me wrong, and welcome to the board! :bigthumb:

Hi,
Thanks for the warm greeting. I know better than to SPAM and am looking forward to getting to know these forums. The last thing I want to do is push Supra's on people--if they want to look on their own that is great!

Take care,
Daniel

The Blitz Nur Spec is my absolute favorite exhaust and I've tried just about every one made. It does cost about $700 before delivery, but it is worth it in my opinion! The fit and finish is nicer than anything else I've seen (except the Veilside Titanium) and it has an incredible sound. It comes from the factory with a very nice silencer insert that really quiets it down to about the same noise level as the Apexi N1 and doesn't restrict the flow too much. On the dyno the exhaust actually produces more power with the insert in than out. Here is a picsture of the Nur Spec

That Blitz looks really ricey... I have the Apexi N1 Duel because of the midrange punch and made an even bigger difference with the header. The sound is deep and throaty not tinny and ricey... You can hear the quality. If you want pics of mine, I can email them to you.

hks, sus-304 stainless steel, catback, bolt-on, mandrel bends, tig welding, for regular or turbo. i dropped my mouth at the price too. i really wanted your exhaust dayna, but this was too good to pass up.... with the extra money i got that great cat convertor. should now be better than the n1 dual now...

and also, the apexi looks a lil loud for me... i've grown a lil more conservative lately. i think my next car may be a nice 5 or 7 series beamer, like 1997 or 1998. don't worry, it will be fast :iceslolan

here's a pick of the same exhaust installed on someone elses car

Well my test pipe was only $35... So beat that.

But it made my car extremely loud, almost as loud as my RX-7 with a 3" RB downpipe connected to 3" stainless steal custom 3" into dual 2.5" wye, then terminates into dual supertraps...

hehe... you have echeck in indiana? that's when the usually get ya. they check if you have a cat convertor. the only way to get around it is to get an old cat, gut out the inside and weld it around your test pipe, that would get around...

No echeck in Indiana! Thats whats stopping me from moving to california... My car would never make it. I got pulled over a few days ago for my car being "too loud"... the cop said he was going to write me a ticket, and i told him to go ahead, so then he went to his car and drove off because he knew he couldnt do anything. I hate cops.

uhh...Derek. they're not even in the same class. that's why it 0wns the G35, because the G35 is meant to compete with the 3-series and the 5-series is meant to compete with the M45.

I would prefer the HKS super dragger. They are the widest used system on performance cars in Japan. Since they've been doing it a lot longer than we have they must be doing something right :)

I wouldnt say better performance just cause its made of titanium, Ill agree with the lighter part though, i guess that has alil to do with performance since it's what maby about 5-10 pounds lighter :icon16: . well from the price you gave its about $700 over here im guessing. Thats about right for a Titanium exhaust. :bloated:

But I am also looking to get Apexi N1 Duals, its either that or JICMAGIC.
