I don't visit this forum much(88-91 Civic) because I don't own a 240SX. But at one point I thought about getting one...well that "point" has come back and stabbed me like O.J. Simpson did Nic...oh..wait he didn't stab her. Anyway I was just wondering what the factory specs were on an 89-93 240SX 5spd Hatchback. Also do they carry superchargers or turbos for the factory engine?

first things first. list the specs you want!

When I say "specs" I mean engine specs, weight, factory 1/4 mile times, 0-60, and also top speed.

I think it has a speed limiter around 116mph, .89 200ft skidpad lateral g's... 4 wheel disc brakes, 4 wheel independant suspension, RWD, KA24E(single cam 135hp) or the KA24DE(twin cam 155hp), 5 spd or 4 speed automatic. Coupe or Hatchback for 89-93, 94 convertible only. Some hatcbacks have 4 wheel steering, ABS, and a LSD factory.

they weigh around 2500lbs for lighter earlier model ones.

you are SOOOO wrong.... the sohc has 140hp, not 135hp.

no where near 2500 lbs.. they are 2680 lbs. that's a big difference. i believe the newer ones weigh less yet.

in 1990 it put out 140 with a 8.6:1 cr
All twin cam models in 1991 and up produced 155

curb weight for 1989 FB is +/- 2690lbs
coupe weighs about 30lbs less

1998 SE coupe with 5-spd weighs about 2859lbs.

the newer they got,the more they weighed cuz of safety shit and other luxuries
