Mechanic called me yesterday told me that he broke the wire harness after replacing the valve body. His mistake so he expedited a new harness. Replaced it told me to come pick it up it was all set. He Drove it 4 times and no lights. I put the key in turn the ignition, engine and wrench light are on. I had him check the code while I was there, still P2764. So it sits at shop til Monday. I saw some where on the internet that it could have something to do with the harness wire? Anyone have any comments?? I'm not above telling the mechanic to try something I heard on the internet. Also before I brought NAPA pulled the codes and there was P2762 which the mechanic says he can not get that to come up.

Do you know if he spliced in the broken connector or replaced an entire harness, connector to connector? If he spliced in, there may be issues with the quality of splice, especially if he didn't solder it.

He replaced the entire harness. I'm a girl and I don't want to step on his toes. However I need my car back and I have researched it on line and a lot of people are saying there maybe something wrong with the wire harness and how they put it together. Something about a tan wire and a metal vs plastic clip in the 2007 models. I guess I am going to say something on Monday when I call. Thanks for replying Rod.
