Glue Question

Hey,
Im just curious what you guys use to glue transparent/ translucent parts onto the model with. Ive tried hobby cement (wrecks any paint and fogs the plastic) and recently i tried white glue. This lloked great for about 5 weeks... until the glue decayed and now theres a nice big white blotch on my Intergas tail lights...
What do you guys use to avoid this?!?

Elmers clear blue glue works well.

I've actually had really good success using Future to glue in headlights and taillights. I typically set the part in and let it seep into all of the seams around the edge. Then I just brush it right overtop of the lens. You have to give it 3 or 4 applications to make sure it fills any gaps around the edges, but the end result is pretty good. The entire thing just blends in with the body.

I'll try to get a couple pics tonight and post them for you to see.

Future works good with tight fitting clear parts like headlight lenses. Just remember to use ammonia to clean yor brush after your done.

I use a little thing called Humbrol clearFIX ,it dries perfectly clear.

i usually used a 2-part epoxy to glue all my stuff together. Never had it fog the clear parts once. Just takes a little longer to dry then most other glues.
