Capture the Emotion: metalfan's entries

Hey everyone,

Sorry for starting a new thread, the original idea was to post all of my design competition entries in one thread. But I did not think the name "modular truck" was covering the subject too well. So I thought, instead of continuing on that thread, I now make a new one for covering the rest of my entries.

So, the second week was about the keyword "Liquid", and this is my sketch:

It did not end up as "liquid" as I wanted, and there were many awesome sketches posted at the competition's Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/CarDesignPage). I learned a lot from this, and I am surely trying to improve on it for my next entry!

The keyword for this week's deadline is "electric". Wish me luck! :)

The third entry was about the keyword "Electric". I took inspiration from a heavy thunder storm. Like the "Liquid" truck, this one has been sketched on paper, and worked out digitally.

The next keyword is "Animal".

The last keyword was Animal, and the current keyword is "Aggressive", deadline tomorrow. That makes it already the 5th keyword out of 8!
The sketch over here is my interpretation of the keyword animal, and I decided to take a more fun route this time, more fluent shapes and a theme that is almost cute. The winners have to be announced, but the deadline of the next keyword is already nearing! I'll keep you guys posted! :smile:

I have been talking about the keyword "aggressive", and this is what I came up with. It is a little bit forced into the theme, so it is less recognizable as an actual truck. But nonetheless it was fun to draw this one, something completely different! :smile:

Next keyword is "Soft", number 6 of 8. This one is pretty hard, I have to find inspiration yet. Wish me luck!

So, that's it. It was fun to join this competition. I did not win, but I learned quite something from the other entrants (and the feedback that the commended designers got from the judges). I think that this was a great opportunity to learn some more about digital sketching (I finished these sketches digitally).
