86-89 integra specs wantedFastTeen 06-09-2003, 04:48 PM i'm lookin to get a 86-89 integra and i wanted to get some specs. also i read in "hot rod magazine" "hot rod guide to 4-cylinder power" that the 86-89 teg LS/GS had a D16A1 under the hood.....so would that mean that 92-95 civic/del sol engine parts are interchangeable? PWMAN 06-09-2003, 09:31 PM Well in 86-87 the D16 made 113 HP@6250 RPM. In 88-89 it made 118 HP@6500 RPM. The D16A1 is pretty much an outcast, not compatable with anything else other then the ZC DOHC, it's JDM counterpart which made 138 HP. In 86-87 it had 9.3:1 compression, 88-89 had 9.5:1. Reline on both is 7000 and fuel cutoff is 7500. The D16A1 and ZC are the 2 only DOHC D series engines, and not too much DOHC things are compatable with SOHC things. Also 92-95 are OBD 1 and 91 and less are no OBD. What else do you want to know? FastTeen 06-10-2003, 08:44 PM that's all needed. thanks for the info!:) PWMAN 06-10-2003, 08:55 PM No problem:smile: 90gs 06-11-2003, 09:35 PM Originally posted by PWMAN Well in 86-87 the D16 made 113 HP@6250 RPM. PWMAN 06-11-2003, 10:05 PM Yes, the smaller the displacement of an engine the higher RPM it's going to make it's peak power. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
