I find very little difference in difficulty from one street car to the next. I'd say to avoid race cars with a complex decal scheme for your first model, but otherwise, just buy a car you would like.

Truthfully, you should always be building a subject that you like. You'll stay in the hobby longer, and enjoy it more like that. The Revell ITR kit is pretty decent and at a decent price of around $15 at Michaels. It seems you like ITRs (by the looks of your sig), so I'd suggest starting there! Good luck!

A good tamiya kit to start on is any of the skylines, EVO,VW Golf etc.
Most of the non-race cars are a very good starting kit if your new to modelling

I just realized from ths thread that there's no easy way to build the car in her sig... a RHD, UK-market ITR. You'd have to modify the dash of one kit or the front end of another... heh!

The hardest thing for a newbie with the ITR kit is probably if they wanted to put the graphics on the body.
I bet they'd rip them.
