if both s13 then either one is good because they are the same thing just one is newer.

black and red have the same ammount of horsepower, but black is newer and there are also technological differences. take a look into our FAQ and go to some of the link. they'll explain it better then i ever could.

I like the S13 valve covers more.. redtop is cool but eventually I would have it painted, probably just polished though!!

The Red Top is older, and will probably come with more miles. The Black Top is well worth the extra few hundred dollars because of the miles and because it has a much better part in it that the RT...I forget exactly what it is....check the FAQ or find the topic from like a month ago that was this same question.
