Cool! I like what they are doing in terms of marketing. The video on their FB page is a great way to reach out to modelers.

Probably to do with who is letting them make kits of their cars without exorbitant licencing fees.

Aoshima did a great release announcement which is on their Facebook page, it also gives away the depth of their partnership with Lambo.

A little while ago, LB Works spilled the beans by announcing that their Lambo would be released as a plastic model from Aoshima next year, but it wasn't clear whether it'd be the Murcielago or Aventador. Looks like the stock SV this October, and LB wide body next year.
Another thing about the FB video is that there's no need to go to Italy in July 2013 to study the existing Lambo since there are plenty in Japan. So the trip must be for something else, and I have a higher hope either the Veneno and the Gallardo successor.

Aoshima's new Murcielago kit doesn't seem to have full engine details, but still looks better than Fujimi. Aoshima also got the line from the front bumper to the headlight washer cover right.

italy hosted the greatest lambo event meeting in 2013. cars coming from allover the world They had a great sunny fullfilling food and wine session in one of the nicest part of the country. Also some LB performance dream cars were here. People as usual makes a GREAT fiesta to such cars.

I think the engeneers from aoshima are fighting to come here ..;) not only for working reason.

It's always the same. I've just bought the Fujimi kit a few weeks ago and now Aoshima announces possibly a better kit. Oh well.

Personally, I cant wait, this is my dreamcar & had been considering the Hobby Design 670SV Full resin kit @ $300USD+. HD Also sell the full engine as a seperate kit if you want a full engine...

I have a friend on the inside at Aoshima & he assures me there are 2 ( two ) versions of the SV coming out... Also BOTH will have FULL engine detail... Go to their F/Book page & you'll see all the prototype pics :-)

He has also told me after October they will be producing/releasing more super cars nearly every month after. Their production team is running 24/7 & they have a lot on their production plate....

Cheers Cliff

Have to agree, Aoshima is certainly at the top of the game lately. Quality and detail have been superb. Can't wait to see what they have in store for us!

Aoshima staff members are constantly apologizing for delays on the company blog in order to make sure the production version will meet the highest standard. Aoshima's corporate culture noticeably changed recently, and everyone seems committed to each of their projects. (In fact, today's blogger talks about his/her ride in an ambulance after falling ill. Karoshi (death from overwork) is no joke in Japan!)

R35 kit was not good enough, but its shortcomings are addressed in their 86FR-S/BRZ kits, like fitment of body parts and level of details.

The 918 would be a perfect surprise for the fall hobby show in Makuhari, Japan, but if it was ever released, it'd be either from Fujimi or Tamiya.

What where the short comings with the R35 kit?, and which one?, was it the 2012 , or the later years?, I have built three of the 2012 version's and say that I noticed anything wrong with them, and I cant wait for them to do another run of the NA version as I never got one

Crikey, NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If I NEVER see another BORING Porsche or DULL Beemer kit, it will still be too soon!!!!!!!!!

I agree - too many Lambo's and Ferrari's - how about a few classics?.....

DB1, 2, C and D-type, early Le Mans racers, 50's and 60's F1.......
Maserati, Alfa, Facel Vega.....

Roy.

:iagree:

If i was you address your issue on aoshimas facebook page. I believe that the more people post their ideas on new kits to be made, they might listen if many people are for it. Its a lot easier for them to hear what customers have to say nowadays with social media.

Aoshima has really impressed me this past couple of years. The new Aventador kit is pretty much perfect. Mine's about 80% complete and I've not had any complaints with the kit. The engineering on it is very good. And this new Lambo looks great aswell. Hopefully they will produce some more brands next year.

I was very interested in the new MFH F1 GTR but at almost $400 bucks, I decided to take a pass, now Aoshima is producing the F1 GTR and I couldn't be happier being one of my top 5 favourite cars. Not knowing the exact price of the new F1 GTR, but likely in the 50-70 dollar range, building a couple of them wont hurt the pocket book like a MFH one would.

Thanks Aoshima, keep up the good work.

Today I've received the Murcielago kit.
Looks good, and parts are all well cast, however the engine bay tub solution is not exactly appealing. Otherwise a nice kit.
