Hi guys

I have been working on a Revell kit, and the decals were a nightmare
I tried a number of decal products, from microsol to Tamiya markfit strong
The stuff that has always worked for me in the past
No luck, then after talking to a model building friend, he let me borrow a bottle of AeroMaster aero sol
This stuff worked a treat and the decals now look amazing

Aero Master is no longer available, but is there any thing out there as good?
This stuff is based on Butoxyethanol

I've had great luck with Polly-S Decal Solution, same base as Aerosol.

I've used Daco products. They come in 3 strengths. Their strong version has always worked well on tougher decals. I've also had good success with Mr Mark Softer by Gunze too..

I always use Gunze mark softner.
It is the strongest ever (even too much sometimes and for many modellers) works with everything, including the ugly tyre decals for old 1/43 models over rubber crispy or flat surfaces.

Also tested it with the terrible monogram decals from the 70s. I works great also there.
