My 2005 3400 chev impala just recently started giving me starting problems, 1st start in the morning she start good, anytime after that when warm I have to give her the gas a bit and sometimes may take 2 times to get it going, car runs and idles fine, runs smooth ,no power loss at all, I have no idea what it may be

Check fuel in the vacuum hose at the fp regulator, could also be an injector leaking down, dirty throttle body, lazy iac.

I just did the regulator test and no fuel came up through it, I took the iac out and cleaned it but is still the same unless the iac is faulty, I have another one off another 3400 impala I will try tomorrow but thatnks and will let you know

Thanks Max, it was the iac motor, put another one in early this morning and starts way better, but still sometime have to start it twice to get her going, all of 17 impalas I had since 2000-2005 with the 3400 engine all did the same intermitting thing but now I don't have to press on the gas to get the car going
