96 1500 4x4 brake question.

If the truck sits overnight. On first start in the morning, put it in drive to get out of driveway. Apply the brakes, they lock up hard. If I start it and pump the brakes a couple times they won't lock up. Once I have applied the brakes one time, they never lock up the rest of the day. Any guesses?

I've read that sticking parking brake cables cause rear brake sticking issues.
Could this apply to your current problem?

Not the rears. All brakes lock...

Does your truck have ABS?
If so, is the ABS light or Brake light on?

No ABS, no brake light on...

One thing locks up all the brakes...what do you think about the master cylinder being bad?
