What could happen to master cylinder if cap wasn't removed when pushing calipers?
So rushing I forgot to remove cap, and push on calipers.. As I was pushing on the caliper I noticed brake fluid spraying... I don't know where it came from I am guessing from the cap... I cleaned around the master cylinder and tested brakes but I couldn't find any leaks around master cylinder. I am paranoid right now any inputs would be appreciated. :runaround:
Also does anybody has a photo procedure about how to purge the brakes.
I got a Altima 2009 4cyl

Don't sweat it. The only thing that happens is you got a mess to clean up. Hope it didn't get on the paint. Bleed longest line first: RR,LR,RF,LF. I prefer to bleed foward when pushing back the pistons. Gets the moisture and dirt out of the calipers.
