Dorikin 06-08-2003, 04:24 PM Hey, can you hook Brian up with SSR meshs lol RyanGiorgio 06-08-2003, 05:20 PM Anyone see the Yashio Factory S15 in Super Street last month? It had Model 5's in the front and RG's in the rear...or vise versa...i can't remember. Anyway, that look is hot. I've been seeing more and more drift cars with mismatched rims. Am I the only fan? BTW the Impuls are pretty nice. I have a set of my own...in 1/24 scale. WhiteBlur 06-08-2003, 05:22 PM Mismatch wheels are awesome, especially having bronze and black ones :icon16: . Suislide 06-08-2003, 05:42 PM another drift trend, swallowed by the bandwagon. :bigthumb: SR20DETpower 06-08-2003, 11:10 PM what it mainly came from is people swapping on different tires on their drive wheels for the track.... somehow it turned out looking cool? lol Suislide 06-08-2003, 11:25 PM you got it, SR20. they had different sets of tires mounted on different rims, so that at the track, they could simply throw on whatever rims and tires the conditions called for instead of having to mount the tires onto the rim first and then bolt it onto the car. it also has to do with the value of the rim i think. usually one will use cheaper, crappier rims at the back as these take a harsher beating. SR20DETpower 06-08-2003, 11:35 PM or for slicks slicks arent made over 16" and most are 14-15" for wrinkle walls...... so some racers have there nice looken say 17"'s for street use, and when they take it to the track they put on their smaller, cheap secondary wheels....... 180driftking 06-09-2003, 06:29 AM Originally posted by S13_Iketani another drift trend, swallowed by the bandwagon. :bigthumb: sorry but everyone does it sometimes, its eventually gonna happen, but i never really likes drifting until i tried it and its intense when doing it, especially uphill or downhill. so dont get mad its the same as people who just drag. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
