Hi. Can somebody please help, with a very simple question?? What is the proper spark plug gap setting for a 2003 Toyota Camry 4 cylinder?

I just bought 4 of Bosch (4501) FGR8DQI Platinum IR Fusion Spark Plug (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000PL2AZC/ref=ox_sc_act_title_3?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER)

And NGK (8916) TE58 Wire Set (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000C5PZP8/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER) along with K&N 33-2260 High Performance Replacement Air Filter (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000630B1Y/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER)

And want to find out what is the most proper, most fuel efficient setting.

THANK YOU

1.0 - 1.1 mm (0.0394 - 0.043 in.) FWIW, I think gapping the plugs toward the larger gap of the range will give the best mileage.

Maximum electrode gap is 1.2 mm (0.047 in.)

NGK IFR6A11 or DENSO SK20R11 plugs are recommended. Bosch ignition parts are not thought of well.

I searched a bit and could not find anything in NGK or DENSO. I would recommend you buy a set from Toyota.

Now, if you are not getting an DTC in your ECM and no Check Engine light showing, there is very little chance that your wires are bad. I would leave them alone if this is the case.

From reading reviews for all products that I bought, every one of those products got 5 stars out of 5.

Do a better search, because I find a sh*t load of stuff, and especially on Toyota Camry...

I don't believe that wire set will fit your Camry, but what do I know? Knock yourself out.

Would you please be kind enough to find me a right product on Amazon.com that has free shipping and in the same price range? +/- few dollars, please?? THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!

Your engine does not have normal high-voltage spark plug wires. Each plug has an ignition coil attached to the plug lead.

Also, be careful with that reusable air filter. With the added oil in the element, the oil tends to contaminate your Mass Air Flow meter sensor wire over time, since it are downstream of the oiled air filter. The MAF meters are not cheap to replace ($150-200).

So, I'm not placing my order for that. But you are correct 100% correct about the wires. On Amazon you are not only able to find "Free Shipping" but you also can narrow items down by the make and year of the car. And those wires were offered in that find. Along with everything else.

My mechanic is going to install everything for me..if I buy right products.

All I want to do is make my $75 gas tank last me for longer than 150 miles.

But there is another problem arising. This car ORIGINALLY didn't have a high MPG. But again with the full tank costing $80-$85, I don't want to fill up again after only driving for 4-5 days..Thank You

Here is an article on air filter media - somewhat related to brand, but the results are general about filter media. FYI, this site is great for general automotive information about lubricants, filters, and miscellaneous auto topics.

Thank You, but no thank you. I don't really have any time to read stuff. All I asked what and how and where. I don't really want to read and educate myself fully (but to the point enough to get by). THANK YOU!!!!!!!

I need then, help with somebody telling me EXACTLY (providing links) on what to buy; I'll have my auto mechanic install. THANK YOU

It seems the best thing for you to do is to ask your mechanic what is needed. He will have to inspect your car and recommend parts that need to be replaced. Your mileage is more complex than just your engine. If you have bad tires, or inflation pressure, or need an alignment etc, all these will affect your mileage. Your injectors may need cleaning or be leaking. All these things may add up to significantly decreased mileage.

So, right now the car is finishing the full tank (cost about $70). So far a bit over 300 miles.

I pretty much got back up to it's original. I doubt there is anything else left to change. I changed everything that I was advised of.

Thank You very much folks!

Don't waste your money. Just another "better" spark plug. Any plug will increase your efficiency if the old plugs are worn out or fouled. Put them in a taxicab fleet for a year and report back.
