My wife's 2002 Jeep GC has just started having the problem of stalling at speed. Happens without warning and will start back up with out any signs of trouble. No CEL. Car has a 6 cylinder with 130k miles and is well maintained. Have been reading around this forum and have seen a few people post similar issues. I will look at the connection at the ECU tomorrow. Is this a common area of trouble? Sorry for being so vague, if it was more obvious I be able to repair it myself. Thanks in advance, Keith

Check for codes. Check fuel pump pressures.

Most likely the crank sensor.
Without proper testing no way to be sure, but throw one on it, they are affordable.

Checked for codes and came up with P0320. Purchased a new CPS and was going to put it in yesterday. 58 yrs old + 38 degree weather + 20 mph wind = local garage doing the install today. $112 in labor costs. Money well spent in my opinion. Car seems to be fine. Took it out today and ran it in traffic, highway and a road with lots of stop lights. No issues. I appreciate all the help I got from you guys.
