Hi all, I'm using the wing from hobbydesign, the construction of the wing looks really neat, if it could stick together.

Well my problem is this, as you could see from the diagram, you have to insert one of those rivets(aluminium i think) through 3 PE parts for the wing mounts.

However, after trying to CA them together and letting them cure for 1 night, one slight movement, would just crack the CA, and all the parts would come unjoined.

Thought solder would help, but realised after trying, solder does not stay on to the PE/rivet probably due to the material.

Really feel like all hope is loss and this is a terrible design to build a wing, some plastic mounts would have been so much easier!

I would use a 2 part epoxy adhesive.

2 part epoxy glue is your best friend...

Lightly sand the surface before applying CA glue or epoxy.

All of the above suggestions are a great way to solve your problem. Also, be sure that the parts are wiped down with some window cleaner to get rid of any oils that could prevent the glue from sticking to the parts.

2 part clear epoxy glue. works like magic! haha!. but its quite messy to work with, the mass of the glue is quite thick.
