Shift Solenoids

Does anybody know where to buy a working number 1 and number 2 shift solenoid for a 245E transmission on a 1993 Corolla? I have looked all over the place and Toyota has no idea what I am talking about when I ask the parts guys. I was thinking get an old transmission from a junkyard and pull them out of there, but those transmissions are hard to find here. Any ideas?

Google is your friend. Found several places selling them online. They're kinda pricey so shop around. Probably get a boneyard tranny for the price of them!

Well I found a transmission at a junkyard. It's from a 97 corolla with the same engine and transmission setup I have. Would this transmission work with my car? Even if mine is OBD 1 and this 97 corolla is OBD 2?

Not sure... probably not. Different protocol. Leave this out there and see who salutes it.
