Hello Guys, today I present my second job. This is the kit revell 2'n1 Hose Dodge Charger 1968.

I decided to make a road version and will do it in matte black color.

I started work starting from the assembly of the 426 hemi, which is then attached to the tripod.

third step:
Underbody suspensions tires and exhaust system ...

Fourth step:
Interior ... for the interior I opted for a burgundy color very dark, obtained by mixing some colors .. I was very satisfied with the result because it reminds me the color of the leather used, at least on Italian models from those years ... in most blacks do seats interior blacks and all black, I would have created a model too flat ... for the rear seats, instead, I used the matte black.

cn the same burgundy I colored doors is that some dttagli the dashboard ..

for the carpet instead I mixed the matte black with metallic aluminum, obtaining a carpet ...

given the chance, h removed the back seat that I replaced the roll barr and fire extinguisher ...

here are the pictures:

new step: color body .. as I said, I opted for a matte black color for the hood I chose the version with air intake ...

after colored entire body, it's the time of assembly, and color radiator, battery and wiper fluid tank, for which I put a few drops of blue inside, and being transparent, I think teh recreate the effect well liquid ....

Nice attention to details especially in the engine bay. I like the work on the battery.

The charger looks good in Matt black. You did a good job with the tiny emblems.

To improve your skills I would recommend the following:

. Spend more time prepping your parts before paint. You have a few seam marks on your seats and on your body. You should hunt them, remove them and make sure they are gone before you go with the paint. I am not sure if you are using primer which helps for those details beside ensuring good adhesion of your paint.

. Check for some reference pictures of your model. Some color choices may be questionable in your interior or your suspension parts. It might also be your choice to go with those colors...

. Finally I think that the car sits a little high on its wheels. It is a common default I find on most Revell kits. With that being said I would encourage you to do a quick mock up of the body, frame, suspension parts and wheels of the model at the earlier stages of your build. If you don't like it, you can then try to fix it before you go too far with the paint and the assembly.

It seems like you went pretty fast from the mustang to the charger. The painted parts look better. Keep it up.

ChristopheB Hello, forgive me if I tell you just now ... Thank you for having responded to me and I thank you for the attention that you put in the analysis of my work, I hope you enjoyed it! Thank you for the advice you gave me ... 're not the first who tells me that there are residues of the frames on some parts .... I have them all removed, perhaps it was confusing because I uploaded the images of the blanks before treatment, so maybe those images have created an error. in fact, all the pieces were carefully filed before staining ... However, if you noticed the colorful pieces that are still imperfections, please tell me what could cause myself escaped. On some dtettagli, actually I used different colors than those suggested by the instructions, but I looked on google images to see if in fact someone had adopted these colors for your machine. instructions, most of the components were shown in black and I wanted to avoid making a model monochrome ....
for the external color I sipirato the charger The Fast and the Furious, also for what I prefer to put the roll bar in place of the rear seat.

Well, I can say that Metal black colour for the hood is really a god choice.
