Hey all,

Well, I am looking to start my F2002 after being in my shelf for about 5 years :lol::lol: Anyway, I will need a few things since it is a pretty basic kit. So do you guys have any ideas which seatbelt I will need? I was looking on at ebay but the seatbelt itself is more expensive that what I paid for the kit! I think I paid 40 for the kit delivered :icon16:

Would that be a reasonable seat belt or is there a cheaper alternative ?

I am also looking at the CF sheet but unsure which colour would be best. I was looking to buy this sheet

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150772678861&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:GB:1123

But the guy who is selling it seems to suggest this sheet is a one size fits all as he said: used on models of any of the three scales listed

Any ideas would be much appreciated :grinyes:

With regards to the FW24, is this tamiya set seatbelt any good? I have one similar to this but I didn't use it because the sheet is plastic and doesn't look very realistic

What colour of a CF sheet would suit the FW24?

And the F60 ? :)

Acustion is generally too expensive. As an alternative try this one:

http://store.scalemotorsport.com/merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=SM&Product_Code=8123&Category_Code=6

That was originally part of the SMS F2002 detail kit.

The CF decal you linked to won't be correct for the F2002. It is built with more modern patterns. Here's an example picture of the engine induction a quick search came up with:

For this the 1400 series of CF-decals from SMS would be best:

The 1:12 size is o.k. in a few areas ( cockpit mostly ) but in most places the 1:20 and 1:24 would be better. These cars are not built with just one type of carbon fiber ( pattern ) so a mix of decals is in order and also looks better :-)

That said, other manufacturers also make useful patterns ( don't want to advertise SMS only :-)

Thanks for the reply. Any ideas which decals I should purchase to make a good replica of the F2002 ?

Any ideas ?

I got this decal

http://www.hiroboy.com/catalog/product_info.php?manufacturers_id=20&products_id=888&osCsid=2e1a4c1d17c98c054caa2c90706686b0#.UKjfk4bRU 84

But it doesn't look right because the CF decal seems too 'large' for a 1/12 scale... It looks like this might be better

Would you guys agree ?
