I start a new WIP.
Base is the 1/24 Fujimi Porsche 997 GT3R kit.
The new Transkit from Scaleproduction contains all modifications for the 2011 GT3R Hybrid. New hoods, bumper, BBS chrome wheels, PE parts, wing bracket, dashboard and steering wheel are included. These parts are very good quality.

First of all you need cut off the hood and bumper. I opened all vents at the body.

http://images52.fotki.com/v639/photos/4/1566484/9580914/IMG_0991-vi.jpg

After first layer of primer the body looks nice. Some sanding and its ready for painting white.

Not in the TK. You can take the tires from Fujimi kit. Here is a picture:

That's a very inventive way to do the steering wheel - too good an idea to not use that someday!

the steering wheel painting is a great idea.
Imho the flocking on it is a little too big in scale(is a problem also I always have), but inside cockpit will be probably quite hided.

Thanks mate. No the most detailed GT3R is Jochen's "Ringkämpfer". The wheel nuts contains more parts than my entire model.

Small update. Glue some wire under the flaps and painted semi-gloss black.
