First time building a proper Muscle Car, and this has always been one of my favourites. It's just been sprayed again in Lime Green, which will cure for a day then Lacquer tomorrow. :) It's my first project in my all new workspace.
I replaced the front seats with the seats from a Tamiya Honda CRX kit as the kit ones weren't great to say the least. As regards to detail painting such as the vinyl roof and other bits - I'll be brush painting them. Will it be okay to brush paint them then spray Tamiya clear over them, or will I have to clear then brush paint? Help would be appreciated.
Anyway, on with the pics!

So far, I think this is my best work yet. :)
Thanks for looking, all help appreciated!

I like the green color in the Superbirds! I would sand the bonnet pins before painting and use PE. Roof is black, so no need to paint it green. Modelcargarage has a vinyl material to be used in it, or you can paint semi-gloss black.

Mock test fit, this is how she looks at the minute:

Does anybody know where I can get the Road Runner decals? the kit doesn't have them.

Just some more engine details and some touching up to do and she's done!

Good work! Was the body or chassis warped in any way straight out of the box? The older issues had that problem and I'm wondering if this release id any different.

The roadrunner graphics might be able to be downloaded. I could not find it now, but I remember coming across a website that had free car emblems and graphics for download. You could then use a decal making kit, like the one from Testors, and, with a good inkjet printer, make your own. Hope this helps.

Nah, the kit was perfectly fine apart from the hood which was bent waaay out of shape. Bit of heat and bending fixed it though.
I know that the Petty 'Bird had the decals, but finding a set in the UK is easier said than done..
