Does anyone know if the computer (MEFI4) turns the fuel injectors on without the control module? The motor cranks fine but the fuel injectors are not getting any electrical juice. Before I go spending 500 on a computer I want to check with you guys first. Thanks!

What year? Usually all injectors are powered by a fuse, and each injector is grounded individually by an injector driver in the ECM/PCM.....

The Ram Jet Engine uses a MFEI 4 computer and has a Multiport fuel injection system, I checked all the grounds since there are only 3 or 4 and they were all good. I checked all the battery supplied 12 volt points and there's power everywhere. It cranks over well and if I put fuel down the throttle it will start up! I put a noid light to a few injectors as I was attempting to turn it on and nothing from the noid. This computer receives a Vehicle Speed signal from the module so I was wondering if perhaps the module could be at fault since my other option is the 500 dollar computer. I ordered a new Module P/N 10482830 so I guess I will change it out and will keep you guys up to date.:tongue:

Verify the control has the reference pulses from the distributor.
