replacing upperright door hinge 2002 buick rendevous

on a 20002 buick rendevous, i'm replacing the upperright door hinge, because the wind caught the door and bent the hinge. Now there is a gap on top of the window and creates drafts and noise, and have to replace, however, when i loosened three of the bolts, they keep spinning, and have tried wedging screwdrivers and the like to see if i could loosen them. Do i have to take off the fender? or any other way i could get at the bolts

From what I can find, the bolts should come out. It looks like it uses "captured" nuts on the inside. It's possible they broke loose. If thats the case, then some further work is in order.
