Hi,

Has anyone gone through replacing these busings and if so would you be able to provide me with any guidance i would need as to how this is to be done?

Thanks,

Robby

Haven't done it myself, but word in the forum is to buy entire new control arm with bushings and ball joints already installed and swap out the whole thing. That's probably what I would do.

Yeah that may be better for a DIY job, i'm trying to save some $$ by changing them myself but, the garage said it would take them approx 1.5 hrs (75$ +/-) plus parts to fix so that would probably be the cheaper option i guess... parts are approx 17$ each...

Well 40$ for the bushings, 1.5 hrs (75$) labour for the garage to replace them. It actually sounded like those bolts were tight and it would have taken me quite a bit longer so I think it was worth the cost in this case. He took the control arms out which consisted of (releasing the lower ball joint, removing the horizontal bushing bolt and vertical busing bolt), took the control arm to the vise and hamered the busing out, then hamered the new one in... next time i know how to do it :)
