Tranny swap

I have a 91 camaro trans. I think it is a 350 i am replaceing it with a 700r the tranny tails are differend . I need the tail that has a mount for the torque-arm that goes from tranny to rear end on the camaro .can i just swap then... Also one has a elecrtic. Speedomenter the other doesn t can that be changed. Thank you for your help...carl

A '91 F-Body should have been delivered with the TH700-R4, even behind the V-6. If it does indeed have a TH350 someone changed it after it was delivered. You would only need to undo the changes someone had done before and restore it to the original configuration,including the torque arm flange and VSS in the tailshaft housing. Make sure you install the correct plastic driven gear (identified by color) on the VSS to match your rear gears.
