Unknown Hood

My father wants me to sell an old MG hood he received as a gift from a friend. He claims it is an MGA hood. I put it on ebay and had people suggest otherwise. I cannot find what it goes to online, and am lost in the process of getting this thing gone. Does anyone know what this is?
