Best places for bumpers and skirts?Nickeleye 06-03-2003, 10:27 PM I've got a 2000 Civic Coupe and I want to put on a new front and rear bumper as well as side skirts. I've been to a ton of sites online, but some look terrible while others look respectable. Some I hear have bad reputations and some are good. Some have a very limited selection, while others have quite a few to choose from. What I'm trying to get at is... are there any sites online that have a large selection of bumpers, skirts and/or kits, but ALSO are respectable and don't sell you crap that won't fit your car or be crappy quality. I've seen so many sites now that I'm starting to confuse myself. I think I want to go for a C-West front bumper, Feels side skirts (if I could find them somewhere), and a Black Widow II rear bumper. I also kind of liked this Hybrid kit (http://www.aerogear.net/products/images/96-00civic-hybyrd-FB.jpg) from Aerogear. *edit* Ok, before I get flamed for not noticing the "important" thread I wanted to say I just now noticed it... in my defense. However, if anybody can give me any insight about my questions I'd appreciate it. el_loco_civic 06-04-2003, 12:08 AM you can always try looking around these places : 1) www.extremedimensions.com (http://www.extremedimensions.com) 2) www.importfan.com (http://www.importfan.com/main.html) that 2nd one is wierd w/ gettin to different pages, but you should get it ;) The first one tho, is a goody ! Hope one of these helps :) Nickeleye 06-04-2003, 12:31 AM Hmm. Are you serious? These are two perfect examples of places I've heard the most complaints... el_loco_civic 06-04-2003, 12:37 AM Extreme dimensions shouldnt be any problem, my friend had ordered a kit for his 92' integra w/no problem. Delivered on time, what he ordered, the works.. i dunno bout the other place, it just looks cool :p :bloated: but i know that my friend had no probs w/Extreme dimensions. He got his Kit about 3 months ago. CraniumDesigns 06-04-2003, 08:07 PM www.kreativeimport.com Online ordering not available yet. Still working on that, but kits are top notch and you can complain to me if you ain't happy. Nickeleye 06-04-2003, 08:10 PM Nice site, but my only complaint is that you only have one bumper for a 2000 Civic. CraniumDesigns 06-04-2003, 08:20 PM we're working on selection. i'm just the web master, not the owner. i don't handle the products or anthing. i just handle the site design and maintenance. TheNotoriousMogg 06-06-2003, 12:54 AM grounddesigns2000 KrNxRaCer00 06-06-2003, 01:30 AM www.shophyperformance.com ordered my c-west front from them, an they had good delivery time an prices. not to mention they'll match ppl's prices for the most part...:D i'm happy w/ them. Nickeleye 06-06-2003, 08:03 PM Are their bumpers, etc. from the original manufacturer or do they make their own knock-offs? I kinda like their Black Widow 1 kit. Looks almost just like the Aerogear one I like and it's ~$200 cheaper. Jurenic 06-07-2003, 01:23 PM Here are some of the sites I have in my favorites folder under Cars->Shop->Bodykit :: Enjoy ::;) http://www.extremedimensions.com/ http://www.aerogear.net/ http://www.aerotrends.com/ <-------- Very good! http://www.andysautosport.com/ http://www.bodykitconcepts.com/ <----------- Also good.. http://www.bomexusa.com/ http://www.carismaautotec.com/Default01.asp http://www.erebuni.net/ http://www.fibremotive.com/new/index_home.htm http://www.fusionimports.com/ <---------- Pretty good! http://www.gpsports-na.com/ <--------- Here you can find best kits for 240sx, silvia conversions, 180sx, old style RX7 and so on... http://www.grounddesigns2000.com/ <---------- Very good http://www.importfan.com/gtperror.html http://www.veilside.com/ <----------- Best of the best, but expensive... http://www.importadrenelin.com/ http://www.kaminari.com/homepage.htm http://www.octaneautoparts.com/index2.html http://www.stillen.com/default.html http://www.streetweaponkits.com/index.htm http://www.strictly-foreign.com/ <-------- Best kits for VW http://www.visracing.com/ <----- Looks good, but I heard some complaints about them.... http://www.wingswest.com/ <------- I don't like them, their kits look too plain..... http://www.vitessesportscar.com/ <-------- Convert your CRX or Civic into a Modern looking roadster.... Hope u like it, btw, this is my first post, great forums here :-) liquid8 06-08-2003, 11:20 PM www.modacar.com www.imoto.com Nickeleye 07-01-2003, 09:34 PM One slight concern... Does just about any kit you buy lessen the distance between the road and the car aproximately the same from kit to kit? In other words, may one kit give you 3" clearance, while another only gives you 1-1/2"? The reason I ask is because I have already lowered my car about an inch or so and I don't want to get it so close to the ground that I'm going to scrape or hit everything on the road.... *edit* Also, one other thing. Does anybody know if all the Black Widow I kits have two cutouts in the back for a dual exhaust or does it depend on which version of the car you have?
