Ok so I need to know the benefits I will get from changing this sensor and how to test it.
Because the car is a 93 and I strongly believe the sensor is oem and the car being 17 years old
I don't see how it could last that long. Plus I'm having issues that line up with the symptoms of a bad act sensor

don't throw parts at it if it's not broken

did you use a paper clip at the blue connector to read OBD I trouble codes?

there is a plug next to the kick panel under the dashboard. Below the glove compartment. By using a paper clip or wire you can jump the plug. Turn the key to on and watch your check engine light flash. Long slow ones count for 1 and really quick ones are the second number. For instance, 4 long slow ones and 3 really fast ones equal 43
on a pre 96 Honda the only way to get codes is by doing the above jumper wire method

I get code 12 egr lift but my problem is the car idles fine in park but when in gear it idles good then slowly idles down real low til the car starts shaking. I already tried bleeding cooling system changed multiple iacv valves all still the same symptoms and the act sensor has never been changed also it acts funny when in cold dense air and during the day it idles really low but at night runs like a champ also mpg sucks too 240 to full tank use to get 350-375 a full tank
