E36 BMW Reliability at 140k

Hi,

I just got my license and am looking for a first car. I've looked at many different makers and models, but the BMW 3 series has appealed most to me. A car I am currently looking at and like quite is an E36 model 328is, and I was wondering about its reliability. This car is a 1997 BMW 328is with 140k miles on it. It is listed at 4000k dollars.

-Power Everything (I think this is standard)
-5 speed manual transmission
-2 door sport model
-Upgraded Stereo System
-No check engine lights
-Radiator was replaced at 133k
-New Windshield
-New bilstein sport shocks and struts.
-Lowered 2"

There are two sets of tires/rims for winter and summer. The summer tires are low profile with 17" kong rims

This car is at the high end of my price range, an I don't want to spend most of my money on a car that will eat up my money in the future. I really like the car, but I am hesitant to buy because I've heard that BMW's are not very reliable over 100k miles. It seems to be in good condition and the radiator, struts, shocks have all been replaced recently.

Is buying this car a good choice? Is it a good deal? And if I buy it should I expect to be dumping hundreds of dollars because of its high mileage?

Thanks!
