Canceling lifetime warranty

Hey everyone,
Wife and I bought a Fiat 500 back in October. We (well, I) wasn't thinking clearly and got talked into getting the lifetime warranty. That night I called them back to cancel it. By the time they returned our many phone calls a few day later, they said that the paperwork on the car loan had already been finalized, and that since the loan was for a certain amount, they couldn't cancel it.

I've been too busy to deal with this until now. I read in the lifetime warranty contract that the warranty can be canceled any time before the factory warranty ends. The dealership has already claimed that the issue is with the bank. I think this is BS. How can I go about getting it resolved?

You wasn't thinking clearly ???,,, Let's be a little honest here,,, you had done no prior homework and the dealer had the upperhand ?

Without going into a song and dance doing a novel on this subject, the dealer could have cancelled your warranty, but the problem being they sold you an absolute " I quote " useless warranty and made a heavy score in your pocketbook.

I will tell you where we go from here if you would like to post the name of dealer and address

I completely agree with Ray. As he said, you jumped into the matter without a proper homework. In fact, after making your decision of cancelling the lifetime warranty, you didn’t wake up in time. The bank took a complete benefit of this opportunity. Its clearly is a matter in between you and the bank, and can only be solved with legal support. You better talk to an experienced person who can handle this case for you.
