2005 Grand Caravan power steering/ battery light.

I was driving to the store and when I turned a corner the power steering went on me and the battery light came on. I managed to park it but it was quite a workout turning the steering wheel. A month ago I had the alternator changed. Could that have something to do with it?

You're right it did slip off. I had it replaced at the same time as the alternator. Thanks
