just got 2000 gs2000_gs 06-03-2003, 12:22 AM this is my first car actually, it's a 2000 integra GS... i was hoping to get some help on making it quicker and making it look better... i was thinking of changing the tires and rims... but when i do that... do i HAVE to change the suspension? i was also thinking of changing the intake and the radio... it's ugly... anyway, i'm new at this and any suggestion will be greatly appreciated... thanks in advance :sun: KrNxRaCer00 06-03-2003, 12:35 AM if u change the rims, no u don't have to lower it. lowering it will help ur handling however, an IMO makes the car look a lot cleaner. as for the intake, its not a bad start, follow up w/ an exhaust an header, an there u go. 2000_gs 06-03-2003, 12:45 AM ok, thanks... but first, what's an IMO? :bloated: B16EJ1 06-03-2003, 01:48 AM In My Opinion sameintheend01 06-03-2003, 03:14 AM i LOVE my stock radio in my integra. What's wrong with yours? 2000_gs 06-03-2003, 09:09 AM there's nothing wrong w/ my radio, it works fine, i just don't like the look.... it's got that old radio look... i dunno... but no, the radio functions perfectly PWMAN 06-03-2003, 09:34 AM Originally posted by sameintheend01 i LOVE my stock radio in my integra. What's wrong with yours? Huh? The radio in my mom's 2000 LS sucks. The one in my brother's 02 Hyundai Accent was way better.   IntegraBoy94 06-03-2003, 09:37 AM I would get Intake/catback exhust system, and some headers first,, if u want performance, then go for rims and get it dropped, yeah Integra radio's are ugly change that too, Dave 2000_gs 06-03-2003, 10:47 AM do you guys suggest any brands or types? is there a good website i could go to that u guys know about? TheNotoriousMogg 06-03-2003, 12:44 PM website for what? cat back? header? radio? intake? 2000_gs 06-03-2003, 01:01 PM more like, any of that stuff, my integra is all stock, i have nothing on my car... so any website will be helpful... thanks sameintheend01 06-03-2003, 04:12 PM Originally posted by PWMAN Huh? POS TheNotoriousMogg 06-03-2003, 05:28 PM Ebay (http://www.ebay.com) lordvektra 06-03-2003, 05:44 PM wouldn’t know about the stock sound. I got mine and than found out the speakers were blown :( dont really matter, just forced me to change them out sooner than I wanted PWMAN 06-03-2003, 05:50 PM I don't think it's the speakers, I think it's the head unit. 2000_gs 06-03-2003, 06:33 PM i've got 6 speakers in mine too... it's doesn't sound too loud... sorta clear... its really not that great... but i don't know, maybe it's because it's on the radio... IntegraBoy94 06-03-2003, 10:17 PM hey go to www.Shmotorsport.com u have to go to google and type it in there sometimes it doesnt work right, everything is good and at good prices, go for skunk2 2000_gs 06-03-2003, 11:51 PM i have a question guys... i was driving and about 2 or 3 times, i didn't quite step on the clutch deep enough and when i tried going to 3rd gear the gears didn't "bite" or something... so as a result i had to step again on the clutch and then try going to the 3rd gear... i don't know if i'm just paranoid, but i'm noticing a little shake in the stick when it's on 3rd gear... i'm back in my apartment and i just noticed it right before i got in... i didn't have time to experiment or to check with the other gears in case the shake is the same... it doesn't shake like crazy or anything... it's just a little shake... do you guys think this is anything to be worried about? :( IntegraBoy94 06-04-2003, 09:35 AM It happens to everybody bro, I got nervous when I drove 5 speed for the first couple of times too, I dont think it is anything to be worried about vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
