Flowmaster end muffler question

Question:
When I put on a Flowmaster end muffler on my '99 Venture....will that increase my mileage? I mean does the engine needs the original tail pipe pressure to perform the best mileage?

What did you do? Just replace the muffler assembly?
Did you do this expecting better mileage? Or because muffler was bad?

Now its original...but the end muffler is leaking/bad...so I need to change that one...I tought a flowmaster for a "better" sound(and a better price).............that's all...
I'm only thinking if it possibly will increase my mileage for fuel.....because the venture is a very computer controlled Van and the flow wil be different with a flowmaster muffler than the original...... :cwm27:
