Tinting windows questionPawl 02-15-2012, 10:23 AM I am out here in southern calif and I just bought an 07 accord with no tinted windows. I like the tinted windows. Do these after market shops do quality work? I dont want something that starts looking bad after a period of time. I will do some investigating with some shops but I also wanted input on here. Thanks 2005chevimpala 02-15-2012, 10:37 AM I am out here in southern calif and I just bought an 07 accord with no tinted windows. I like the tinted windows. FYI, if you bought a certified pre-owned from a new car dealer, they can usually roll that kind of stuff for free or very cheap into the deal. I bought a CPO 15 passenger Ford van that had everything I wanted except the privacy glass, they had a shop tint all that glass (a very large job on a E-350 window van) for free just to make the deal. They did an outstanding job, looked factory. JWriter 05-01-2012, 06:04 PM Detail Wiz is a great tinting source. They do top notch professional work for a good value. They are worth a look. razi88 06-17-2012, 11:04 AM Yes, most aftermarket shops do great work. But you do have to do your research or have someone recommend a certain shop to you that they've successfully used. A great place that I know of that does great car window tinting (http://detailwiz.com/car-window-tinting) is Detail Wiz. GONZ0 10-19-2012, 11:48 AM I would say that most shops do good work. Just be sure the tint that is installed is a good brand and comes with a warranty. mstinson 10-29-2012, 10:02 AM I've heard a lot of mixed things about DetailWiz. Make sure you do your homework on the tinting specialist that you choose, and maybe get a few quotes before you make a final decision. If you do get several quotes make sure you don't automatically choose the lowest price, that can sometimes be an indication that they use lower-quality films. Best of luck!
