Rough engine/vibration

I have a 1998 Accord and anyone who's driven that car knows that it rides quiet and smooth. I recently took my car to the mechanic for a head gasket change and ever since I got it back, it just doesn't drive the same!!! There is a lot of engine vibration and noise that wasn't there before. When I accelerate the car seems to vibrate every piece of plastic in the car which makes it super noisy. I sent it back 3 times and the mechanic doesn't seem to find any problem with it.

Has anyone had this problem or know what could fix it? at this point I'm not sure what to do. I don't want to send it back to the same mechanic as it will be a waste of time. Should I take it to a Honda specialist??? Please help!

I did it once. The car idled smooth, but in drive produced the loud roar. The bad thing that to verify it you need to take apart almost everything.

The vibration could also be caused by vacuum leak but the mechanic should be able to diagnose it.
