2006 Dodge Caravan AC not workingseldomo19 01-29-2012, 09:35 PM Bought the van used, had for approx 8 months. The AC started to go, now nothing when you turn the knob. Bought a new resistor as mention in reading many previous posts. The resistor didn't fix the problem. The light is lit on the AC unit itself, and it seems like when the windows are down cold air comes from the vents when driving. But nothing happens when you turn the knob. What is my next step??? I have not tried the fuse yet. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as my 2 kids are complaining of the Florida heat!!:1zhelp: DeltaP 01-30-2012, 05:28 AM You need to check the fuses first and even the relay,(under the hood), but it might be the blower motor. Its uncommon for the resistor to go out on all speeds at once. High speed fan bypasses the resistor anyway. The blower motor is located under the right side dash behind the glove box. You can reach it under the dash. With the fan on high speed hit it with something, like a shoe! Give it a good rap. If it starts or tries to start the motor has gone bad. Not that hard to change, only 3 screws holding it in. And this is the nice time of year! HTH Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2012
