This is a 96 camry with 309k miles. 4cyl 2.2l. the oil and the seatbelt light stay on after the car is turned off. I have changed the oil and it still lights up. I disconnected the battery over night so it won't drain it. I also had the battery tested and it was good. If I start the car the oil light goes off and then i put my seat belt on and the light goes off. if i turn the car off and i have my seatbel still only the oil light comes on, if i take the seat belt off and remain in the car the seatbelt light still stays on. ANy suggestion on what to try or a fix, please let me know!!!
I would also like to add, that i have tested the oil pressure switch as intructed by the manual and it seems to fine. unless someone suggest to replace it, i might!

Check your alternator. A bad one can the source of some weird dashboard light behavior.

Usually a bad diode in the diode trio of the alternator will cause the "Alternator" light to glow dimly. It wouldnt surprise me if it was feeding back to any other ground circuits as well. You could try to disconnect the alternator B+ cable from the alternator and leave the battery connected to see if those lights remain on. That would confirm or eliminate the alternator. Make sure you tape up the B+ cable end when you disconnect it and don't let it touch anythng as it's a hot wire and can carry considerable amperage.

Thank You!! for your reply. I checked the alternator connection (side electrical connector) oval shaped. it had the 3 wires fraid and they seems to be touching. i wrapped each of them with electrical tape and replugged it back. i had the battery cable disconnected when i did this,so when i reconnected the battery cable back the lights didn't return. i drover the car for about 30min and when i turned it off, the lights stayed off. Once again Thank You!, i would have never guessed it would be the alternator.
