Pippin1974 01-24-2012, 04:40 AM Nice jobs..let me ask you a question, let's suppose that i want something.. very specific, can you draw it? or do you just print it? Normally people said me the car or bike, whatever they want and send me photos, that's all, I design the logos, send a pdf to customer with the decals to get correct measues and then print it. rallymaster 01-24-2012, 05:14 AM very interesting !! have to check and sort out a few things :naughty: :grinyes: crisjr 01-24-2012, 07:21 AM very interesting !! have to check and sort out a few things :naughty: :grinyes: Very interesting indeed!!.. I mean would your white decals become pink if covering a red body ? My main interest is in rally plates and doors plates that's why my question. :) your pics let us believe it's not a problem but I already had to deal with Oki/ALPS and I wasn't totally convinced... Hi Well...of course ALPS decals are not industrial ones...The white isn't opaque at 100% so that's why when is over a dark color normally I print two layers of white to make it more opaque. The "problem" is that you have to put two decals...one only white and the other is white and the "real" decal. It's a bit more work but the finishing is really good. crisjr 01-26-2012, 04:44 AM Hi Well...of course ALPS decals are not industrial ones...The white isn't opaque at 100% so that's why when is over a dark color normally I print two layers of white to make it more opaque. I see no problem with that.. since it fits together perfectly.. rallymaster 01-26-2012, 04:53 AM Hi Well...of course ALPS decals are not industrial ones...The white isn't opaque at 100% so that's why when is over a dark color normally I print two layers of white to make it more opaque. I agree with Cris, and I already process so for some Oki printed white decals. It's better than putting two coats ot same decals, always hard to adjust. Pippin1974 01-28-2012, 12:54 PM crisjr 01-30-2012, 04:31 AM Very nice printing!!.. Pippin1974 02-01-2012, 01:47 PM Last decal printed.....hope you like it http://fotos.subefotos.com/29af0bdaa628e4ae60888dd49e9b63f8o.jpg da_ashman 02-01-2012, 05:13 PM What are some of these decals for? & would you sell them to others with the clients consent? Il dottore 02-01-2012, 10:53 PM I draw my own livery`s in Coreldraw. Is it possible to send you that file so you don`t have to do the drawing, only the printing? Pippin1974 02-02-2012, 03:35 AM What are some of these decals for? & would you sell them to others with the clients consent? Yes, there will be no problem for printing again for other customers. The bike decals are for http://fotos.subefotos.com/5e9153084c1444c267884cce74e759f5o.jpg Carlos Cardus 1989 NSR 250cc http://fotos.subefotos.com/1cb55310bfea5f4391b9173582867626o.jpg Alberto Puig 1994 NSR500 http://fotos.subefotos.com/aeb4e06195f01467379dd5cbe8ecd6a5o.jpgCarlos Checa 1997 NSR500 The car is a copy of ESCI decals for Mercedes 450SLC http://www.benzworld.org/forums/attachments/r-c107-sl-slc-class/227824d1237239615-slc-rally-car-photos-your-enjoyment-rally-cars-1776_1l.jpg I draw my own livery`s in Coreldraw. Is it possible to send you that file so you don`t have to do the drawing, only the printing? There will be no problem if you send me a Corel Draw 11 and I will print for you. rallymaster 02-02-2012, 04:35 AM The dakar mercedes decals are very nice !! I checked my pics and there is a 1/24 C2 S1600 I really would like to have, the Prokop version, but the decals may be very hard to draw and print... Do you need to have the model home to make a decal I suppose...? that will also make things more complicated... Pippin1974 02-02-2012, 04:40 AM I don't need the body to make the decals, just a couple of measures of 1/24 car to look for a blueprint and make decals, then I will send you a pdf with the decals ready to print and you have to print and look measures in the body you have, then if there is any change I made it and print the real decal. Verminator 02-07-2012, 04:12 PM What I personally would find most useful is a generic set of graphics, maybe tear patterns, flashes or blockwork. I am specifically interested in the patternes used as the base layer for the current trend in ITASHA cars, there are plenty of character decals to go on cars but no baselayer patterns. corvettekid_7684 02-07-2012, 05:59 PM Nice!
