I just found a little tricky to find the pm link for the vote jury guys.Thanks god u all 3 are great modellers and I remember your models, but will be maybe better to have a post where all 3 judges are present, so surely will be easyer to send the pm together.

There's an easier way to send a PM to all the 3 judges: go to your private messages folder, click "Send New Message" on the left and enter the 3 usernames in the "Recipients" field.

Is there any way that youor the builders of these entries could post links to the wip or to the completed threads for these models, or even just a link to more pictures?? It is kind of hard to judge these equally by only one picture.

You know, people who post the same thing in two separate threads without reading the rules first, annoy the hell out of me. You took the time to post this twice, now take the time to read the rules.

Wow your a pleasant one. In the same amount of time it took to be an ass you could have just told me they only get one photo. I didn't want to enter other wise I would have read the rules. I wanted to vote but because you have handicapped everyone by only letting them enter one picture I won't vote. There is no way to pick a winner fairly from one picture and I'm not interested in a popularity contest. BTW----Your rules SUCK!!!

Jajaja. You can still do a search. I did that, so my vote was a bit more depth than from just one picture. For those that I couldn´t find the thread... well, just the pic.
A link could be useful, but I guess could go as a suggestion for AFMOTY 2012 :P

It's not a handicap- it's a level playing field. Everyone gets one picture to represent their work, as well as they can. Links to build threads essentially mean that it is no longer only the model that is being judged, but also the quality of the build thread. That puts many of our members at a real disadvantage- specifically those who are not as comfortable in English as the rest of us, or those who are simply unable or not inclined to to represent their work well in a long show-and-tell thread.

It would be great if we had a Thread Of The Year contest, but this is not that contest. MOTY has always been done this way, in recognition of the realistic limitations of a purely web based community. We don't claim or pretend to be an IPMS contest.

If you're not interested, that's fine- don't participate.

No. I haven't been sending responses due to time constraints, and it is not necessary. The PM system appears to be working properly. Also, we have 3 counters for a reason...to verify who has voted and what was voted for. If a vote was missed by one of us, we'll catch it when we do the final tally.
