1997 Mercury Grand Marquis - Radio CD

Would a late model (e.g. 2008-2010) Radio CD from a Grand Marquis/Crown Vic fit into the 1.5 Din slot of the 1997 Grand Marquis? I have finally migrated my folks from cassettes to CDs but they want the "stock" look and there is next to nothing aftermarket. Any advice would be appreciated? Thank you in advance!
