ls, intermittent heat, and fan radiator fan running more than normal

01 lincoln ls, v6, intermittent heat, and once the car warms up the fan runs way more than it ever has, sounds like I'm stuck in traffic in the middle of summer.

when the car is idling the fans slows down, as soon as the RPM's increase the fan seems to ramp up as well.

You probably have a cooling system leak somewhere that is allowing air into the system. The degas bottle is almost certainly cracked and needs to be replaced, but you may have other leaks too.
