MY Escort's driver's window freezes

My '92 escort's window freezes when temperature is around 15-20 degrees or lower. The passanger's side fogs up very bad. But the actual driver's side freezes on the inside. No problems with rear defrogger or anything. Just the two front (mostly the driver's) side window's. Any idea's?

You'll have to pull off the door panel, CAREFULLY remove the vapor barrier and investigate. THe door panel just pulls away at the bottom, sides, then lifts over the lock/unlock control. The vapor barrier must be reused, and MUST remain in perfect condition. If it rips, either attempt repair or obtain another from the junkyard.

Make sure the window trip isn't missing, and check the door seals. Note any scratches or other surrounding the door frame, which may indicate that it is misaligned. Windows fogging generally indicates that water is getting in, but not getting out. Check everything from under all passenger seats, to the spare tire wheel well in the trunk. Standing water anywhere in the vehicle, or near the ventilation system will make defogging unusually difficult.
