Have a question for the 4.3L swappersPAMUSTANGMAN 10-20-2011, 03:00 PM My mom has a 98 Blazer that has a rod knocking. My boss has a 93 S10 he is doing a 350 swap into. I want to know if I use just the basic short block, and all the heads, manifolds, and sensors from the 98 with the 93 block will everything run back together simply and most importantly run. From what I have seen the 93 may have a hotter cam in it but more performance is never an issue in my eyes? Anyone out there tried this before??? tlbianco 01-06-2012, 11:04 PM hi, I don't know if you have done this yet but, I have worked on a lot of 4.3s and I believe you could use the long block and tin just use all of your sensors because the plugs seem to change every year.
