Thought the second pic was one you had taken of an empty street, then I realised this WAS your diorama!
Nice work although your post is fairly confusing, you seem to have drifted from what your title suggested are trying to achieve (who is Sauron?) For scale comparrison I suggest you use a household item many people are familiar with?
Jap classics are very nice models too.
