CIAO ALL!
I'm doing a quick search and...... surprise.... I didn't post anything on the WIP area in last 2 years.... it is umbeliveable to me....
Things aren't that I'm doing nothing at all... but my modeling activity is so confused and complex in therm of modeling subjects, in therm of civil modeling subject and at last just in therms of numbers... that I can't show something decent...
Well: a "contest" in one ITA forum would help me to quit my modeling crazyness... and the cure is one of my kid's preferred models: the R89C: in fact I own the kit I guess by 20+ years...
It would be full open, and I used the shortcut to cut two models... so good fit and less worries: well friends I leave you to self-explicative images... let me know if something is un-clair and thanks all for watching: CIAO.

Well some of you know me..... do you think I'll live with only a couple old PE set? Obviously not.... so I felt myself in the hard position of NEED a custom PE set... at least I would be the ony one to own it :D (green square are parts for the MB 601 BF109E4 engine in 1/32....)

There are several great details like the alternator's origami, solid discs and much more. Not for sale :D!!!

I start the job on the engine also: pure fun....
For some reasons I cut apart engine block and gearbox... in fact when I got some job on GB ready I ended screwing up the block.... so I combined parts from two different kits

http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c159/gionc/R89C/DSC_1050.jpg
I also choose to keep separated both block's shells, or would be hard do any wiring job between aspiration ducts.... joint can't be noticeable at last

Diff have to be "bolted" yet....
http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c159/gionc/R89C/DSC_0016.jpg
As last I worked on "butterfly corps" and on throttle links, cant wait to paint the air ducts and do a fit test....

Yesterday I received my order with RB motion and I have now those great uniballs joint.... cant wait to start the job on sunspensions....

Hi guys, thanks!
Steve: TBH I have apart the pink "Italya" scheme also: the full detail, opened, car would sure be a '89 LM Calsonic car. Yellow FromA decals would needs a modded body (and mod. mechs if full detail) since they're for a R90CK: I'm tempted to put aside a curbside runner.... also since I own one Hasegawa also.
TBH they are 3 the Tamy kits involved... but I lost one..... I must find it before the end, would be cool display a spare engine without gearbox....
