Archetype123 10-03-2011, 11:00 PM Apply your paint, start your university education, check paint after graduation. May still be a little tacky. CFarias 10-03-2011, 11:35 PM Using an airbrush and a food dehydrator I've had reliable dry times of about a day. In general, oil-based glosses take the longest time to dry compared to other paint types (acylic, lacquer, etc). But they can produce very slick and shiny finishes. Personally I use MM glosses for specific applications, such as needing a specific color and sheen, for example, Chysler Engine Red for engine blocks, or, such as your case, for Aclad of ther applications requring oil-based glosses. I'll use harder paints such as lacquer for bodies as they produce a hard, durable, and quick dry finish. Hope this helps. Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2012
